These are common items that miniaturists produce. The baby house is typical of early Dutch miniatures that were used to show a family’s wealth They were also used as instructional pieces for the domestic help. The first dollhouses were actual real sized cabinets like this miniature one.

The Gypsy fortune telling doll comes from the tradition of many miniaturists who concentrate on only producing dolls. This doll in particular is one of a few that I have made.
